Frequency Vintage Up & Running!

I took a few steps forward this weekend and setup my Etsy shop FREQUENCY VINTAGE.  I love Etsy, as a shopper and a seller.  It is a great place to find one of a kind gifts, DIY supplies and VINTAGE!!!!

 First thing I did was make my banner.  I wanted it to be clean,  fun and have a vintage feel.  I found a great font on dafont.com an awesome site with tons of free fonts that liven up anything you are working on.

Then, I got my first two items up and have much more in stock which I will post soon.

Got the ball rolling and am really loving shopping and sharing my finds. 

Only ran into one problem, I can’t figure out how to post and Etsy mini shop as a widget in my side bar.  Any suggestions for WordPress?  I will be searching and hopefully get back soon with a solution.

Funky Friday!

This new segment FUNKY FRIDAY, is inspired by Funky Friday Happy hour at the Fire on Girard Ave in Philly, with Bartender Marcus jamming out to WXPN’s Funky Friday hosted by David Dye “Every Friday starting at 5pm, just when everybody needs it the most, we turn up the sub woofer and open the window at XPN and let the funk out!”

Fashion Forward

Simply said: My name is Bonnie and I want to open a clothing boutique in Philadelphia.  What better way to chart my progress than to blog it step by step?  This blog will follow the ups and downs, what keeps me inspired, what helps, what hurts, likes/dislikes and how am I going to finance this!!

I am going to jump right into the scariest part: Finance the Business.  Basically, I think I have a good eye for style and love clothing, consequently I want to own a boutique. So why not invest in that from the beginning? I am taking $300 and starting an online vintage boutique, Frequency Vintage.  What does it sell? Vintage items hand-picked by yours truly.

Help specify my client
Learn how to run an online shop
Setup an efficient way to track inventory

Practice marketing techniques
